To Our Beautiful Naila,
Its OK to be yourself in a world that’s trying to make you like someone else…always be yourself!
Your purpose in life is not to please others, or to seek their approval or attention through what you do and who you are. Your purpose is to find your Truth and live, breathe and be, each day in that Truth.
Your Truth is waiting for you to set it free!
Your Truth may not be liked by everyone, or be what everyone agrees with or sees through the same eyes as you. We are all different. Being, doing, having the same outlook, purpose, passion or way of being as others is not necessarily the path to your Truth. We all have our own Truth, our own purpose and our own way of Being.
Your Truth is your unique footprint that you are going to tread and leave on this earth. It is your unique gifts, qualities, passions and purpose that you are here to share with the world.
In whatever form of unique self expression that your purpose comes in, no one else will be able to do it the way that you do and in the way that is intended to be in the Divine order of what is meant to be. Be it through dance, music, art, sculpture, writing, caring for others, working in an office or being in service in your community, Your Truth will be the gifts, qualities and passions that only you will share with the world.
No one else can live your Truth, tell you what your Truth is or how you Truth should be. You are the only person who truly knows the gifts that lie deep within you and how to share them with the world.
Stay truthful to yourself everyday and as long as you are ‘being you’ and following your Truth, you will always be on the right path.
How do you find your Truth?
By looking within and noticing what makes your heart sing, what catches your interest, what ignites a burning desire with you and what makes you feel great. Your heart will always guide you.
Do what makes you feel good each day and those feelings of joy, passion and excitement will lead you to that which your Soul and True heart’s desire is calling you to share with the world.
When I started to write this blog, I questioned many times whether I should tame down some of the content of the style of my writing. I even changed words and sentences here and there, only to later change them back as the newer versions didn’t feel right to me.
I looked at why I felt the need to change and hide my Truth in someway and realised that part of myself was afraid of what others will think about me, my writing and my Truth. Deep fears of disapproval and rejection filled my being and stifled my creativity and Truth.
I know now, that if I truly want to be happy and live in my Truth, that I can’t be afraid of what others think, or try to write what they may approve of and accept me for. Why? a) because I can’t please everybody and b) because if I did change how I wrote in accordance with what suits others then I just wouldn’t be ‘being’ myself and in that there would be no point. It wouldn’t be my Truth and what I am here to share with others that I would be sharing but a censored version of something that I am not and what in Truth is meant to be.
You’ll know when that which you are doing is in alignment with your Truth because it will always be effortless, joyful and easy. You will feel passion, joy and abundance and you will be excited, inspired and connected with the flow of life. In your Truth you will always feel good.
If what you do is out of alignment with your Truth you may feel something like a tension, discomfort, irritation or frustration. Like something is missing in your life. You may feel depressed or low in mood, incomplete or unsatisfied in some way. You may also feel that you are lacking in will, desire or motivation. Being out of alignment with your Truth can feel like you are going against the tide or flow of life or like you are constantly going upstream.
Do what makes you feel good and what is in accordance with the Truth of who you are.
It’s always OK to be yourself.
Always be yourself.
As always, I love you Beautiful Girl
