Meditation – 10 Minute Breath Awareness Meditation to Reduce Stress and Anxiety

Hello Friends,

I would like to share with you a wonderful 10 minute meditation by The Mindful Movement which I use to help reduce stress and anxiety. It’s a really calming breath awareness meditation that I use as a relaxation, lying down, to recenter and relax around mummy duties.

Sarah Raymond at The Mindful Movement says,

“If you are looking for a quick strategy to help you calm down, connect with yourself and focus, this practice is for you. This guided meditation will take you on a journey of relaxation by simply inviting you to focus on your breath. As you first close your eyes, let this be a signal to your body to relax, then follow the sound of my voice to guide you deeper into a relaxed state. Let my voice go with you throughout your day to help you relax and let go. “

“Your breath is a wonderful focal point because it is always with you and you can tap into it any time you need, whether during meditation or in your activities of daily life. This practice will strengthen your ability to be present outside of meditation. You will clear the clutter of your mind to calm you. It will reduce your stress level, as well as improve your overall health and well being when practiced regularly.”

Do not listen while driving. This meditation is not intended to replace medical treatment.

In this blog you will see and hear posts, recordings and videos using the name of Amelia Ella Hope.  This was the pen name that I wrote my blog in until mid April 2020.  Whilst I now no longer use this pen name, old posts, audio and video still feature on this site under this name.  The content from both names are from me, Sophia Grace, but the former name of Amelia was used in my early days to allow me to write and share my story safely, openly and freely.  To read more on why I used a pen name then visit My Original About Me page and why I decided to then use my actual name, then click here.  Thank you for your understanding.
